The Life Pathway
Life is where everything comes together.
Our wellbeing is shaped not only by our thoughts and emotions, but also by the physical, sensory, social, and cultural environments we move through. Stress, burnout, neurodiversity, life transitions, societal pressures, and changing identities can all affect how connected and supported we feel in everyday life.
The Live Pathway is grounded in Mental Health Occupational Therapy and focuses on supporting you to create ways of living that feel more manageable and aligned with who you are.

What to expect:
We begin by developing a shared understanding of your experiences, strengths, challenges, environments, and what matters most to you. Together, we identify key areas to explore and practical ways forward.
Alongside therapeutic sessions with Chloe, practical support may also be offered with Alex to help translate insight into everyday life. This can include support accessing meaningful activities, building confidence in the community, navigating work or study environments, or taking gradual steps towards greater independence and participation.
This may include:
-
Exploring your values, interests, and priorities
-
Building routines and rhythms that support your energy and sensory preferences.
-
Completing a Sensory Matrix to gain a deeper understanding of your sensory profile and needs.
-
Breaking goals down into manageable and realistic steps
-
Exploring workplace wellbeing and reasonable work adjustments
-
Practical support within environments such as your home, workplace, or other community settings to support change through shared experience and ‘doing together.’

What is Sensory Intelligence?
Our sensory needs influence where we feel comfortable, connected, and able to function well in everyday life. Sensory Intelligence® is about how our senses help shape how we feel, think, and respond to the world around us. Before we can make sense of our emotions or thoughts, our brain first receives information through the body and the senses. This happens automatically and often without us realising. When our sensory system feels balanced and supported, it becomes easier to focus, manage stress and connect with ourselves and others.
What is Occupational Therapy ?
Mental health occupational therapy supports people to engage in the everyday activities that bring meaning, balance, and wellbeing. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Occupational Therapists consider the whole picture. They work collaboratively with people to support what matters most to them, while recognising how physical, social, and cultural environments can either support or challenge wellbeing.
Support may take place in a therapy room, at home, in the workplace, or within the community, depending on the person’s goals and needs. Through compassionate and practical approaches, Occupational Therapy helps people build sustainable ways of living that feel more meaningful, manageable, and aligned with who they are.
